My wife and I founded Kunming Yukai Daichuan E-commerce Co., Ltd., and OUMAE is our brand dedicated to creating premium insulated cups. Today, this brand embodies our shared dream—crafting the finest travel mug in your hands. We are both forty years old, hailing from Kunming, Yunnan, where jasmine scents drift through the air and the mountains remind us that beautiful things take time to nurture. This truth resonated deeply when we decided to restart our careers—our three-year-old son was just learning to walk, adding a touch of chaos to daily life.
Launching a cup brand at forty? Not for the faint of heart. We burned the midnight oil refining prototypes, argued endlessly over lid designs to keep coffee warm, and occasionally exchanged glances wondering if we’d lost our minds.
